Multi-use trails and sidewalks are enhancing Johns Creek as a leader in health, wellness, and innovation. As a pedestrian-friendly community that links parks, schools, employment centers, neighborhoods and shopping, the City is prioritizing filling in sidewalk and trail gaps along major roadways and within a half-mile of schools, libraries, parks and activity centers. Johns Creek is also connecting with networks of neighboring cities and counties.

Projects are selected based on the sidewalk policy, and a matrix that includes safety, connectivity, and proximity to schools, parks, activity centers, pedestrian use, whether it closes gaps, construction, and cost.
