Looking to try something new or you just enjoy working out in a fun outdoor atmosphere, the Outdoor Fitness classes are a great workout. Certified instructors teach these popular classes and all fitness levels are welcome.

Newtown Park Schedule:

Sundays, yoga at 10 a.m.
Wednesdays, Barre, 10:15 a.m.; Zumba, 6 p.m.
Thursdays, Fitness 108, 10:30 a.m.
Cauley Creek Park Schedule:
Day & Time:
Saturdays, Functional Strength Training, 8 a.m.
Saturdays, Jazzercise, 10:15 a.m.
*All classes will be held at the Cauley Creek 5K Staging Area field/grassy area.
Class Details
Location: Mark Burkhalter Amphitheater at Newtown Park, 3150 Old Alabama Road & Cauley Creek Park, 7255 Bell Road
Age: 16+. Younger participants must be accompanied by an adult.
Cost: Free
Registration: No registration
Equipment: All participants must bring their own exercise mat for yoga and bar-less barre. Please bring a water bottle.
All classes are one hour. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to class time to sign the class waiver.
Classes
Yoga
Moves at a slower pace, improving flexibility, muscle tone, strength, and stress management through stretches, poses, and relaxation techniques.
Bar-less Barre
A fun, 45 min full-body workout that infuses high-energy music with low-impact movement, resistance training, and stretching to sculpt long, lean muscles and improve your posture and flexibility. Yoga mat required.
Zumba
Shake, move, sweat and let it all out! No experience necessary. All are welcome!
Fitness 108
This fun, bodyweight intensive class will leave you feeling strong, accomplished and sweaty by incorporating full body exercises to build strength, stability and mobility. A methodical group session designed by world class instructors to empower and please function and aesthetics. All levels are welcomed.
Jazzercise
Beginner to intermediate classes. A fun, dance based, cardio workout. Blending all dance styles with Strength training and Stretch. Formats include CardioSculpt, PowerSculpt and Stretch classes. Designed to strengthen your Core, burn calories and reduce stress. Bring a mat and hand weights.
Functional Strength Training
Led by Alloy Johns Creek Personal Training. Class will be 45 minutes long.
