About the Project

This project along State Route (SR) 120 / Abbotts Bridge Road from Medlock Bridge Road to Peachtree Industrail Blvd will include widening the road from 2 to 4 lanes, pedestrian connectivity and turn lanes.

The added turn lanes benefit both those needing safe entry / exit to and from their neighborhoods as well as the traffic flow for commuters by adding capacity and improving sight distances. Once constructed, the trail (wide sidewalks) will create a continuous pedestrian connection from State Bridge Road to Peachtree Industrial Blvd.
